Biota provides a wide range of environmental consulting services. Many of our contracts have dealt with compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Endangered Species Act (ESA), and other federal, state and local regulations. Our expertise and professional knowledge have enabled us to complete dozens of interdisciplinary biological and ecological site assessments and environmental impact statements.
In addition to impact assessments, Biota has both the ability and experience to design and construct a variety of habitat enhancements. These enhancements focus on fish, waterfowl, big game, upland game, and non-game terrestrial and avian animals. Biota’s staff members are trained in techniques for delineating, creating and restoring wetlands and preparing wetland mitigation plans for Clean Water Act compliance. We also provide services in the scientific wildlife research field. Biota staff have graduate degrees in ecological fields and provide a diverse range of talents and expertise. Strong interests and backgrounds in scientific research allow Biota's staff to design, conduct, and analyze in-depth research projects. |
